The following pictures are from the 2008 BMAF Calendar that is hot off the presses and heading to your local LDS Bookstores.
The photos that make up this calendar come mostly from the cameras of those who traveled with us through the lands of the Jaredites in April 2007. So this year's calendar is focused on the Jaredite - Olmec connection.
The Jaredites and the Olmecs seem to have inhabited this area (refer to the map called Land of Many Waters) at the same time. Whether all Olmecs were Jaredites or all Jaredites were Olmecs is unknown. The people who live in this area today are rich with stories and legends that have been passed down to them about these early inhabitants and the many evidences that they left behind. (The map is included for your understanding, it is not a part of the printed Calendar)
